Short Story Today
Am working on a new short story, in many ways pursuant to the now-extensive discussion on kick-ass women. There’s an interesting phenomenon, looking at the wordpress statistics–my “Against Tiny Kung Fu Women” blog post was linked in Judith Berman’s response on her livejournal, and so now there are dozens and dozens of one-shot referrals from other livejournal sites.
I don’t know; it’s just really neat to actually see the effects of networking. Whatever.
Anyway, Black Gate has a new blog post by Judith Berman about expectation and satisfaction, which I think is perilously close to my own Stochastic Aesthetics theory, and I HATE it when other people have the same ideas that I do. Curses! But, at least I know I’m not crazy.
Aaaaand I have a play-test review of a new(er) role-playing game called MSG up at Robot Viking. If you like role-playing games, I recommend Robot Viking most heartily, and not just because I sometimes write there.
In the meantime, leave me the hell alone, I’ve got work to do.
