The Kindle versions of the books are now available!
$4.99 for Burn Down Bloody Twilight
$4.99 for Mr. Stitch which I think you can also get in other ebook forms (including iPad-ready PDF) here. Someone tell me, though; I’ve never used Smashwords before.
$4.99 for The Translated Man and Other Stories as above, I think you can get other ebook versions here? Ugh.
with some caveats.
Amazon likes to make it a big secret about how you should be formatting your books for the Kindle. I believe I’ve cracked the mystery, mostly, but there are still a couple hitches. Mr. Stitch apparently doesn’t have chapter headings right now — this is my fault, for trying to use fancy typefaces (because I love me some typfaces) — it’s perfectly readable otherwise.
[UPDATE! I believe that I have fixed, or will shortly have fixed, the last of the formatting problems; moreover, I believe that if you’ve purchased a copy of either of these books and I make changes to the format, they will be updated automatically on your Kindle — meaning you don’t even need to return it and buy it again.]
As per usual, once I get these last hiccups sorted out, anyone who’s bought a a Kindle version and is just TOO PISSED about the formatting stuff is welcome to e-mail me at:
